Where: Millersylvania State Park, WA
When: Thursday July 27th to Sunday July 30th
The Old Wolves are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Wolforee together with the 98th Rainier from Seattle. The dates are Thursday July 27 through Sunday July 30th.
Registration deadline is June 15th
Registration cost is $50.
We have selected a site that is approximately the half way point between Portland and Seattle and is conveniently located off of I-5. And while the end of July 2017 is months away, it is in fact prime time for making campground reservations.
Our plan is to host a 3-night traditional summer camp program for the Timberwolves. We recognize the fact that for some of our Timberwovles this may be their first time camping independently with the pack. Our goal is to be flexible so that we can have as many Timberwolves attend as possible, as such we have a few options we would like to offer to you.
Option 1: You drop off/pick up, or child rides in a carpool.
Option 2: You may make your own reservation at the campground and enjoy family camping while your Timberwolf attends the Wolforee.
Here is the link for campground reservations:
Option 3: You may attend Wolforee as part of the camp staff. Please note that if you choose this option you need to be prepared to be put to work. We will need dishwashers, cooks, activity monitors and etc.
For families with Otter siblings we also offer Option 4: We are planning a family camp event at Seaquest State park, the park is located about half way between Portland and the Wolforee site (50 miles). With this option you could drop off your Timberwolf at the Wolforee and then camp with your Otter at the family camp event.
You must fill out the Youth Registration Form for each youth attending. Space is limited to 21 Timberwolves.
