Camping is an important part of a scout’s life. It is a chance for scouts to practice their skills and grow their friendship bonds.
We have created a rough expectation guide to give you an idea of what camping with the 503rd looks like.
Traditionally we have three all section campouts in the fall, spring and summer. In the winter we spend a weekend at the Kiwanis Lodge on Mt. Hood. In addition scouts have a chance to take part in a regional campout called Hullabaloo, generally held at the very end of June.
Beyond the local and regional events, scouts are always welcome to camp with our national and international brothers and sisters in scouting.
